Lip blushing is a semi-permanent tattoo that can enhance the color and shape of your lips and give the impression of more fullness. This is done by depositing color ink into your lips and along your lip line to improve the overall look. The color is subtle to give natural-looking results. Lip blushing generally lasts 1-3 years before requiring a periodic touch-up. The duration varies based on factors like skin-type, lifestyle, and the color of the pigment. By sticking to our permanent makeup aftercare instructions, you will maximize the appearance of your lip blushing overtime.

What to Expect When Your Lips Are Healing

Day 1: You love your new lips!

Days 2-3: The color will begin to darken temporarily as the pigment oxidizes and light scabs form.

Days 4-7: Your lips will begin flaking. DO NOT pick at any scabs. Allow healing to shed naturally.

Days 28+: It’s time for your perfecting visit! At this time your lips are fully healed and it is recommended that you come back in to re-inforce any lining that might have healed lighter than desired. Please be aware that 1-2 touch ups may be needed to acheive desired results.

Once healed, remember to always apply full spectrum sunscreen to your lips when in the sun to avoid premature fading of treatment.

A complete healing cycle takes 4-12 weeks depending on age and your body regeneration.
